Features that allow for this include the wide, open grooves in the tread on both the front and rear tyre to allow for efficient water drainage. There is also a higher percentage of grooves which are varied in depth and width on the tyre to allow for water drainage to occur from the first lean angle up to the highest. The variable depth and width in the grooves also increase lateral ‘push’ when riding in dry conditions.
